TSAT 3500 Virtual private local area network – VLAN

TSAT 3500 supports the creation of virtual private networks (VLANs). VLAN adds another layer of security to the TSAT 3500 platform. A typical use case is to segregate SCADA, VOIP and Administrative data networks.

• • VPN allows you to segregate networks
  • Maintain privacy within the individual VLAN
  • Data from one VLAN will not mix with data from others

The configuration and management of the VLANs are performed within the TSAT NMS.
